As the NatSCA committee membership secretary, I am here to support the members administratively and field your NatSCA enquiries.
I am an accredited natural history conservation specialist supplying services to the heritage sector across the country. I have developed an expertise with taxidermy and fluid collections. With my background as a human anatomist, I also undertake work on human remains and medical collections.
I am co-editor and author of the Routledge publication Conservation of Natural History Specimens (2026). I was previously the conservation representative, establishing the conservation working group and spear-heading two conservation conferences in Oxford 2018 and on Twitter in 2021. I have also served several roles with the Institute of Conservation, including as a trustee, as an assessor for the Icon professional accreditation qualification, and as secretary of the Inclusion & Diversity task and finish group. I am currently supporting Icon in their Skills at Risk (Natural History) project.
In my other work I am a psychosexual psychotherapist, and currently completing my Masters.
