The Natural Sciences Collections Association will be holding their next annual conference & AGM on 21 & 22 April 2016. The event will be hosted by Derby Museums, and take place at The Silk Mill and Derby Museum & Art Gallery.
The Nature of Collections
Our annual conference this year focuses on how natural science collections inspire our connection to the natural world. Presentations include case studies on the training and developing of naturalist skills using collections; artists projects connecting collections on the gallery and in store to outside spaces; the relationship between natural history societies and museums; exhibition examples linking preserved specimens and our environment.
The conference programme can be downloaded here.
